Consider your event type and the time of year. Indoor spaces offer weather protection, while outdoor spaces introduce variables such as sun, wind, and temperature. If a venue offers both, ask how the spaces work together and what the weather backup plan would be.
4. Catering
Some venues require an in-house catering team, while others offer open catering. Confirm the policy early, especially if you already have a caterer in mind or need flexibility for a particular menu.
5. Amenities
