Built as a Sunkist citrus packing plant on Broadway Road — red brick, steel trusses, and doghouse skylights to light the sorting floor.
1995–96
Peak packing season — the height of seven decades of Arizona citrus moving through this floor.
2010
The last citrus packing plant left standing in Maricopa County.
2017
Reborn. After a three-year restoration, the building opened as a 70,000 sq ft venue on 4 acres — original brick, trusses, and skylights intact.
Why We Kept It Plain
For 70 years, this building packed Arizona citrus. Now it packs dance floors. The restoration didn't theme the place — it just turned the lights back on and let a working building keep working.
